ATV Accessory – Quad Parts:
Regardless of what your looking at in regards to ATV’s, you’ll need to make sure that they offer key features. These features are the difference between getting stuck along the way or going through the roughest of landscapes. The features you need to look at start with frames. Make sure the ATV you look at has a good overall frame and subframe. Next consider the engine, the engine must be powerful and versatile. You should also check the staring, to make sure you can start your ATV with relative ease. This could mean speed and ease of use down the road. Also check out the fuel system, make sure that it’s good overall, because if you get an ATV that doesn’t manage the injection system well you’ll find yourself with a dull model and not have as much fun out in the wild. You’ll also want to take a look at getting quality ATV rims, ATV tires and ATV shocks as these are key components in the functionality and ride of your quad.
Other things to look at are your use of the ATV. Are you going to be using it as an ATV snow plow? If so, you’ll want to purchase a new ATV that will accept an ATV plow. Also depending on what you will be using your quad for you may need to purchase an aftermarket bumper. There are several different varieties of ATV bumpers on the market today.
Best ATV’s – High Performance Quads:
There are several top models garnering a lot of buzz. The main companies producing quality machine’s are ATV Yamaha, CanAm ATV, Polaris ATV, Bombardier ATV, Arctic Cat ATV, Kawasaki ATV, Honda ATV, and Suzuki ATV. The most famous two bikes in the dunes now are the Raptor ATV and the Banshee ATV (both are Yamaha quads). If you’re looking for a utility ATV, most of these companies produce those types of quad bikes as well. Also most of these companies produce racing ATV’s for some of the top quad racers in the sport. These companies continue to make improvements on existing and new models, without recourse. They provide outstanding ease of use with great overall frames, heavy duty engines, and so much more. Whether you’re a novice or a professional, you can’t go wrong with some of these major brand names. There are cheaper models, but it’s not recommended that you purchase one of those. A discount ATV (the Chinese ATV’s that you see in auto parts stores) will lack the performance of a more serious, major brand out there. Consider the top brands before looking at a lesser model overall.

You can get extended warranties that cover parts and labors in case anything goes wrong with your model. There are some brands that do not offer quite a good warranty, so it is advised that you consider getting an additional warranty to protect your overall investment through the years of heavy use.
Kids ATVs:
Different states have different laws regarding the purchase of kids ATVs. You’ll need to pay attention to these laws when shopping for a kids quad. Also, you’ll want to start him/her on a smaller quad bike, depending on their age, weight, height and experience riding. For the smaller, younger kids you’ll probably want to go with a 50cc ATV or a 90cc ATV, however a teenager with some experience may find him/herself more suited and satisfied on a larger bike, such as a 250cc ATV.
