Toaster Review Guide:

You might not really put much thought into buying a toaster, but if you’re looking at different toasters, you’re going to find lots of great ideas.  Whether you are looking to get a bread toaster or a bagel toaster, you will have a lot of options (a bagel toaster will have a wider toaster slot, for example).  When it comes to buying a toaster you don’t have to just look at cost to get a reliable machine. You’ll pay a lot more for style over substance if you’re not careful. If you plan to keep your toaster for a long time, you’ll be using it over time. One of the major points you need to understand when getting a good toaster is the way it toasts bread.

2 Slice - 4 Slice Toaster:

There are a few things you should consider when looking at toasters. You should consider first, what you’re planning on toasting. Most toasters just have slots that fit standard size bread and English muffins. If you’re planning on toasting bagels or larger sliced pieces (they do make long slot toasters) you won’t find that standard in a lot of different brands. Also, make sure that you have space for the toaster, as some toasters are quite larger than others. If you have a 4 slice toaster, you’ll end up finding that the bulky, retro style will cost you a little more than usual.  However, if you’ll be toasting bread on a regular basis and need more than the traditional 2 slice toaster, it will be well worth making the space.  Also, you’ll pay a little more (though it’s worth it) for a cool touch toaster.  Also, you can choose from popular finishes, such as, a white toaster, black toaster, or stainless toaster.  The next feature you should consider is the safety features for your particular brand. If you have small children, small pets that might go near the toaster while it is on, you need to make sure that there are precautions in place so that they can not hurt themselves or burn their hands. Some toasters have special protection in the design, to make sure consumers are not in any real danger. One last thing you should look at is getting a removable crumb tray. A removable tray will make it very convenient to clean your toaster.

Warranties To Help Toaster Repairs:

If you are buying a lower end model, you won’t see the value in repairing it, however if you purchase a higher end toaster, be sure to keep the warranty and receipt in a safe place, just in case.  In regards to getting a warranty on a higher end toaster, you should see no major problem. Most brands will give you a limited time warranty, and some box stores allow returns past the initial 90 days. You should always consider paying extra for an extended warranty if you feel that the toaster might be used by children or could break through harsher uses. A good look at toasters, is not something that the majority of consumers do, but those that are willing to pay a little more for quality, it is a no brainer.

Cheap Toasters Aren’t Always The Best Buy:

There are several cheap models that you can get, but they vary in features and most of them break down faster. However, you can get high end toaster options starting at $19. That’s right, there are top rated brands that start at $19 for quality machinery. The top brands that you can find with the best consumer reviews are Kitchenaid toaster, Proctor Silex toaster, Micheal Graves toaster, Breville toaster, General Electric, Cuisinart toaster, Delonghi toaster, Krups Toaster, Hamilton Beach toasterand others. These models start low and rise upwards of $130 but will give you many options that the traditional toaster will most likely not have.

Best Toaster – Toaster Reviews:

The best toaster models can be narrowed down to two very distinct models. The first is the $140 Breville Die-Cast Smart Toaster BTA820XL. This toaster gets high marks for being sleek in its design, and comes equipped with features like blue LED toasting countdown, motorized slots that submerge and eject toast in a smooth motion. The slots are big enough for bagels and toasts evenly. There are few bad toaster reviews on this high end toaster, and it is one of the better designed toasters on the market. The second toaster getting a lot of high reviews from professionals and novices alike is the Michael Graves Design 4-Slice Toaster 24301 and at $40 is one of the inexpensive models getting the best reviews.
